Built in 1760, the Wentworth-Gardner House was a wedding present by Mark Hunking and Elizabeth Wentworth for their son, Thomas, and his bride, Anne Tasker. Only fitting that over 250 years later happy couples can have their special wedding moments captured in this historic house.
Congratulations and best wishes for your upcoming nuptials!
Here’s what the photographer from our featured shoot has to say about wedding photography at the Wentworth Lear Historic Houses:
“I’ve photographed many historic houses in Portsmouth, but the attention to detail at the Wentworth-Gardner House really sparked my imagination. It feels very lived in and alive even though it’s a seasonal museum…and the light is beautiful all times of the day. I highly recommend it for any bride that wants something truly unique and artistic for their wedding day. Stacey, the house manager, catered to our every need and was so fun and helpful the day of our shoot.”
