The Wentworth Gardner House will open for the 2016 season on Thursday, June 2nd, at 11:00. An opening reception for an exhibit titled “Portsmouth Privateers” will be held on Saturday, June 4th, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Members and the general public are welcome to attend without charge.
The sixth annual Round Island Regatta will take place on July 30, 2016. Sponsored this year by the Gundalow Company, the post-race picnic will be held on the grounds of the Wentworth Lear Historic Houses Association.

On May 22, 2016 at 3 p.m. Wentworth Lear Historic Houses will present a concert of 17th and 18th century chamber music by students from the Walnut Hill School. The musicians, whose last performance for Wentworth Lear took place in the fall of 2015, were received with acclaim by attendees, who expressed amazement over the extraordinary level of musicianship of the students.
